EVENT:   1st Annual BRP / SRMC North MEETS South FunRide 2007

DATE:   December 7-9, 2007

LOCATION:   Salinas Rambler MC club property (with access into Clear Creek Management Area)

EVENT
DESCRIPTION:   Motorcycle club rally. AMA clubs will be invited to participate in this gathering in which new friendships and camaraderie can be formed. One of the goals of this event will be the uniting and strengthening  our voices in combating OHV land closures.  Most important, this will be a weekend spent with our peers, family and friends enjoying what we all love…. HAVING A GREAT TIME riding motorcycles!

   This will be an “invitation only” event, limited to the first 300 people.
   
   Portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Blue Ribbon Coalition Save Clear Creek
   Legal Defense Fund

PARTICIPATION   
COST:   Pre-registration only, fee to be determined. (Apprx. $50 each)

INCLUDES:   ** Camping (Friday â€"Saturday)
   ** Saturday:  Dinner and social hour
   ** Sunday:  Breakfast   /brunch
   ** Event shirt - raffle ticket â€" live music

TENATIVE
EVENTS:

·   Fund raising raffle
·   Poker run
·   Team Tire Change Challenge
·   Golf Challenge (closest to the pin)
·   Awards for: Best Club Colors, most miles traveled, oldest combined group, youngest combined group, oldest bike ridden, Bone Award (best witnessed crash or  â€œbonehead” act on a  motorcycle)
·   Guests will be encouraged to ride into Clear Creek Management Area.  Maps with points of interest highlighted will be available.
·   Sign-up sheets  (groups of 15 riders) will be available to combine riders with similar abilities.  SRMC will offer  escorts to assist groups, and provide information about the CCMA and “Points of Interest”
·   Dinner, awards presentation and social hour
·   Encourage clubs to bring and share club photos, memoribilia, movies, etc.


NOTE:  As soon as we receive response from all the clubs contacted, we will finalize our agenda and the information and registration form will be made available to all interested clubs.
