I'll head out Thursday afternoon and put up a few 4ACES arrows to the help everyone find the camp site.  Greg may may be showing up Thursday night late so look for the ACES flag on his motorhome.

Happy New Year everyone.
What a great time this weekend, for the first of many (I hope) Four Aces New Years Camp out.....
Weather was perfect. Lots of riding and BS'n with club members and new members to be.
We got a lot of little BS stuff out of the way for the Moose Run.
Rode the Bomb. We'll need some heavy markings on some good  danger spots. Came across few good rock piles and a little MX track with a jump the size of a VW. Me and one of the other guys almost hit it at bomb speed  :o would not be good jump at 60+. Then Kent did his best to show us what he thought was the first part of the course up to the C routes. Steve S. showed up the next day and took us through the C routes, a couple hills and then to the alt.
Thanks for coming out Steve to help get a couple things taken care of.
Kent, took most everyone with him out on the second loop to see how they would hold up and if they liked it or not. No big complaints everyone liked it (Kent did not take them down the flush). Second loop approved and ready to mark..... Thanks Kent...
Bruce I really thought you would show up to show us all the first loop, what happend to you? Heard you were riding out there.
I saw Dean Thirkhill and Shelby out there. They saw the Four Ace camp and pulled in. We talked for a bit. Realized it was in 2006 the last time he and Shelby were out (when he dumped his bike over on the way back from sound check and broke himself up pretty good) Shelby has another year to go in college in Hawaii. Dean says he wants to start coming back out again. I filled him in on the Moose Run and hopefuly we see him again soon.
With NO one getting hurt (outside of lots real bad headaches in the mornings  :o ) lots of fun riding and hanging out talking, I say this weekend was a blast (until the ride home. I blew the headgasket in the MH  >:( 3 hour trip turned into 8 hours and leaving my MH in Rosemond).
Here is a list of the people we had out there this weekend. Thanks to everyone who came out and made this a GREAT time.
Four Aces,
Greg, Teri & Ty. Kent (in new trailer, very nice, no more sleepin in the truck  ;)). Dan May, Kim & Tucker +1 & rolling DJ BOOOOM BOX
Day trip Aces,
Rayn, Steve S. 50/50 Phil & Parker, Dean Thirkhill & Shelby ( I don't think I forgot anyone). Thanks for making it out there.
Future Aces and Friends,
Mike, Jen & kids (there were a few of them and all like to ride  ;)) They were the first ones there. Mike's dad used to be a Four Ace a few years back. He named a few names but, the only one I knew is Susie. I can't remember Mike's last name (help someone). They want to become members again and will be at the Moose Run to help.
Eddie (we all know Eddie  8)) Phil's friend who has helped out at many Moose Runs and dumped gas for us many times (D-37 card is in and he's going to race some this year).
John J. (8 Ball on the board. Not even going to try to spell his last name). He was out with his 2 boys, big bro and little bro  ;). Big bro starts racing this year. He's a real go getter and little bro is not to far behind. John and  I have race each other a few times. I blame him, for me not getting my T's   ???, but he's got his and now he starts as a Yellow bar this year(6-6 in the nov clas.. Sandbagger  ;)) John is also going to be a sponsor of the Moose Run. He makes custom motorcycle frames ect. His wife came out a day  ??? maybe 2 after them.
Sergio (Elgato), He is a friend of Phil, Ed, John and now everyone in camp. 11 times on a bike ever and he never missed one ride that went on over the weekend. He would come back so beat up and outta breath. Then see another group getting ready to ride and off he went. Dan lost his transponder when out riding around. He took a few of back to help look for it  ::). We were a few miles from camp on the other side of the tracks and Sergio finds it  :o.
Scott and his dad Bob made it out in there MH they just got before the weekend. Said the heatter was nice  ;). Scott's first ride ended short due to flat tire but , after about 3 hours  :-[ we got that SOB changed 8).
I think that was everyone. Sorry if I forgot anyone, it was a long weekend  ??? .
Had a great time with everyone there. This was a very good New Years Party  8)...
About 21 people camping and about another 6 that just showed up for a day run...
Let's do it again next year!!!!!

How long ago was his dad a member?  What is his dads name? I would remember most names going back through the mid nineties, I would guess.

Going home is never fun is it?  ;)

Sounds like an awesome gathering, sorry I missed it.  Had famn damily out and tried to get the son and  his wife to go ride but their agenda was to see the sights of California instead of camping and riding.  Got another toy for the grand kidz to try....2005 KX 100, will have the entire herd out at the enduro.  Did get to go to the track and put in a solid run or two.  Got to get better though.  Depending on workload, I may show for Snackrabbits!

Rich Wohlers

Sounds like you all had a great time. I saw Dean's post on Facebook. I can't believe Shelby has only one more year of college. Time sure passes. Looks like Richie was a no show......again. We were out at Cougar Buttes doing the rockcrawling thing.

My friend who lives out there and has marked a bunch of the rockcrawling places has some artwork from Richie for the Royal Flush. I hope he has time to make it and put it up before the Moose Run. It will be at the top.
