Well the trip started with a LOVELY seven mile rock crawling journey out to the rockpile  and then a nice dust storm for the icing on the cake. Could barely even stay outside it was so windy, and didnt let up all night. Oh well its the dez, what do you expect. Got up bright and early and was greated to a lovely breakfast from Ryan and his wife (thanks again!). Headed out to the bomb and had a sweet practice (the bomb was actually fast this time! *Shocker*) Got a bitchin start and had a pretty good ride. Only one looped it cuz ive been fighting off sickness for a good week now :/ But it was only Ryan and I holdin down the reins. But none the less a solid finsh for both with NO FLATS.

Probably a good thing nobody else showed up today, cold and WINDY 

BTW-  race start was delayed until 10:30 because ribbon is basically non-existant from the wind.

So how was it?

I cant catch a freakin break!  this was my third flat in the short time ive been with the aces. I was so pumped to get a good jump on points too *sigh* ...

Anywho, aside from the flat, i still managed to have a great time. Aparently i didnt comply with new rule number 47- 8562.5 and dug my tire in at the start 

So i lined up at the start as to what i thought would be a good line... Was it a good line? HAHA. Nope! Ended up pretty far back and in serious dust. Not a good situation with such a jagged bomb run. Started makin up places keepin it pinned through the washes, but quickly noticed bike was starting to wash out from the back. At his point i knew exactly what it was and was about ready to launch the damn thing off the so-cal downhill  whatever, it was what it was and i just rode. First loop was pretty dang fun. With the added traction of a rear flat i was able to smoke the crowds up the uphills haha    Really enjoy the tough loops, cuz its about the only opportunity to pass handfuls of riders. I feel like a broken record, but theres always a next time!

Dont think the bike will be ready for the enduro, but i will make sure to take revenge at DMC. See ya guys then!

Kindof off topic, im sure most of you guys have heard, but theres a search for two missing guys right around this area. Thought if anyones working the course in the near future, to keep this in mind. Hopefully everything turns out okay. Thanks!
