Hey Mark,  Looks like I will be a no-show for this weekend after all.  Wife came down with something and has been coughing like crazy... sick wife + 1 year old baby = no race for ryan...  If I can find a sitter, I may try and come out for Sat. so I can salvage two race's worth of points but chances are Slim to None and Slim just left the building.

DAMMIT!!   >:(

I know my membership hasn't been approved yet....you did all vote yes right?.....

Of course.

Looks like my wife and I will be out Friday as well and potentially another prospect.  If I'm the first out I'll be sure to raise the chevrons.  Did you do Rovers?

There is always a Four Ace at the races, bet on it.  We are one of, if not, the oldest clubs in the district.  You join us because of who we are and the races we promote.  So who are you and what do you have to offer our club; that is the question.

Ryan,
I remember when you first posted on the D-37 site asking about places to ride since you were new to the area. I sent you a pm with some info.......I bring encouragement to new people.
I'll show up on Thursday of the race weekend and do what's needed. I've done it before and will continue to. Part of the responsibilities.
I won't drink all of the beer.
And if I can get back on track with $$........I race 20+ races a year. Desert, GP, Enduro and some MX.

LOL, nice!  I am actually bringing out a new rider to Rovers on Sunday.  Funny how things come back around.

Well put, I had been wondering about that for quite some time but now with the clarity you have provided I will be sure to buy 20. Ahh what the hell I will buy 20,000 and of course I will send all funds to your Nigerian Western Union account.

Jackass, go scam elsewhere. And if this is computer automated then, byte me. Get it? Ha ha ha

General Discussion / RUTS Race Report
June 11, 2012, 07:52:26 AM
Had a great weekend out at RUTS.  Thought I may be solo'ing it but turned out the Aces had a small showing of members past, present, and future.  Attending were; Don, The Cat, Eddie, Myself, Doc, and Kent. Highlights and/or Lowlights:

El Gato (the Cat) - had a good run on Saturday, made it to the third loop but unbeknownst to him he had cracked the lower part of his water pump, drained all of his coolant out, blew his motor, and it was odd because sweep caught up to him but it was never conveyed to us, who were camped directly across from R3.  So he ended up pushing his bike a mile or more back to camp... :(

Don - had a solid weekend, finishes both days, no get-offs, not sure how he did place-wise but know he had fun.

Eddie - solid ride, no get-offs, went around RUTS hill the first two laps due to congestion but the third loop he went for it, made it up to the top with no issues but then a small tip-over at the top, he was a good sport though, fired it up and off he went.

Doc - Another good weekend, made both races, finished both races, his class actually had a really good turnout, I don' think I have seen that many "L's" at a race before.  Bloodied up his elbow a little but he was in great spirits and hung out both days well after all riders were in while we all shot the sh*t and had beverages.  I was cool hangin with doc, bench racing about the past and what not.

Me - I had a really fun weekend, lots of driving but well worth it.  First time doing RUTS hill and it was cool.  Really liked how spectator friendly their event was, seemed like at every testy section there were either a group of people watching/cheering or a bunch of course workers there to help those who needed it.  Both races went well, prolly at the back of the pack but I had good, fun battles on both days with different riders. Came out on top both days as far as the battles were concerned, and to my surprise they were yellow bars, stoked.  Hopefully did well against the peeps in my division/class, might have a chance to crack the top ten in Vet Hwt before the summer break.

Kent - Had a good weekend, think he got third OA on Saturday and a little drama on Sunday.  When they first came to RUTS hill he was in 3rd but the two in front of him spoded-out on the hill and at the top it was Kent in first.  Second loop comes around and Kent has about a 30 second lead on the feild.  Then, the third loop comes around and Kent is in second right on the first place guy's tail when he stops at the check at the bottom of the hill telling them something....  Turns out the dude who was in first had majorly cut the course passing 2nd (Steve Bishop?) and Kent....  Both Steve and Kent then protested the finish and I gues it got pretty heated at the finish. So, Kent tentatively got a 2nd OA on Sunday.

Sorry Scott, didn't see your post but, dont think I would have been able to bring you out there - you need at least one parent to sign the waiver in person to be able to race...  All in all, great, fun weekend, ready for the break.  See you all at the MX (sans bike  ;))

... that damn video is gonna follow me forever!...  In lieu of your skill level promotion I will finally edit it down to "the moment" and post...  Now I have to get my yellow stripe just to challenge you again, LOL.   By the way, did you take a look at the AZ Enduro results fromlast weekend?  Specifically the 30+ C and the C Overall?....  FOUR ACES REP'IN!!!!
