I upgraded the forum software to the latest version.  You will probably need to re-login in order to access the member section.

Also, this new software should work much better from your mobile devices.

For anybody who is having difficulty accessing the D37 Message Board, the software was upgraded to the latest version, but it turns out the hosting servers weren't fully upgraded.  Jeff Owen is working on getting this resolved.  It should happen soon.

The main D37 website still works as normal, www.district37ama.org

Somebody found some old TT(?) pictures and posted them on the D37 site.

I upgraded the message board software yesterday around 3:00pm.  I forgot to exit "maintenance mode", so the site has been unavailable since then.

Fixed now.

Does anybody recognize this car?  My stepson took a pic of it.  Four Aces sticker on the rear window. 

Speedway bikes will be at Ventura Raceway this Saturday.  I plan to be there (to watch).  I think Mark is also considering going.

Looks like racing starts at 7:30 and tickets are $10 each.

In case anybody is interested, it looks like Ventura Raceway is going to have Motorcycle races this Saturday (May 12). 

They have all kinds of classes.  MX, Flat Track, Quads, Speedway, Vintage, Pit Bikes.

I think I'm going to go (to watch, not to race).   Looks like races start at 5:30pm.  Anybody else interested?

Anybody going?

Anybody planning on doing this one?  Since it's close, it's only going to cost me half as much as usual for gas, so I think I'm going to try and do it.

Of course the catch is that it's a point-to-point, so we'll need to coordinate to have a ride from the finish back to the start.

One idea I had is that I could pull my trailer with my truck out there and park at the finish.  Somebody would need to pick me up (with my bike) from the finish area, and take me back to the start.  Then, when we finish the race we can load up 3 bikes on the trailer and at least 2 bikes in my truck to take people back to the start line.

I currently have a day-trip penciled in for this one.  But, as always with me, things could change.

My goal this year is to do one race every month.
