If I was any lower key and relaxed I'd fall asleep and tip over waiting for the banner!

It was good having you out there with us Jerry, thanks again for handling the pit duties. Yea, we're pretty low key and relaxed at least until the banner drops! See you Saturday.

No I don't think so, he used to race along time ago but was never a Rover. I don't think he was in a club. His Rover buddy used to be Dane and now Dane has had a falling out and is now in the RacerMC.

I'll tell him you said so but I think he's a Rover for life he just likes our guys better. BTW how did you do on Sun and how beat up was the course?

Actually had a pretty good turnout at Gorman on Sat. Don't know if anyone else turned up Sun however. Doc, Spragle, Jeff H, Elmo and I were there Sat. I also brought along our adopted Rover Jeff Gifford. Very nice day and a fun course. Dust a little on the heavy side on the first lap though but then as things spread out it was OK.

I sent Gene and his son Trevor an application, the membership guidelines and the club history yesterday. The guidelines have the requirement to camp/pit with us 3 times before being voted on. I haven't seen a reply yet.

and most of have "nightmares" about forgetting our wives names and start talking in our sleep and calling her Monique, or Bambi by mistake, or at least that's what we tell her.

I know it's too early but just so you can get some sleep when should we start laying out the course?

Was this an official club shirt from years gone by? I like the design with the Ace cards coming down the sleeves, too bad it's not my size or I'd buy it.

Yes we did, it took me awhile to come to grips with the 2 stroke but towards the end I was feeling somewhat comfortable. Got to say though I much prefer the 4 stroke on the track. It was nice to meet Dan Murray too, former club member and owner of one very used EZ Up.

Andrew,
Come on out! Elsinore during the week is uncrowded and the weather has not been too hot, in fact later in the day a breeze comes up and it's nice. The last 2 Friday afternoons there's only been about 15 guys on the Vet track at any one time and much less on the main track. I'm getting the RM forks back tomorrow and will plan to use Friday to get them dialed in. Hope to see you there along with Ken.

Richie, I work hard at trying to find ways to not work hard.

Ken, I'll be there as soon as I can but it will probably be closer to 4pm.

General Discussion / Elsinore practice today (Aug 11)
August 11, 2006, 08:04:48 AM
I plan to be at Elsinore today around 2PM'ish for a little moto fix. Ken and I had a great time last Friday, low temps, very few people, nice vet track with a new layout at least for me. Look for big blue f350 crew at the vet track.
