On my computer the D37 message board has been "wormed". It says "This Site Is Defaced!!!", Never ever no sanity web worm generation 5. Any one else getting that result? What should I do, if anything?

Yes, the D37 website was hacked, through the message board. There are thousands of websites using phpBB message board software (including this site) that have been hacked.
Four Aces did not get hacked. I just installed the patch that should prevent me from getting hacked here.

Well, I don't think Jeff can work on it until he gets home from work tonight. So it will be at least that long until he can fix it.
Also, it's possible all the message board data was lost, or maybe only one day's worth if he had backed up recently.

If you want, you can read this (http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=241300&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=400) and you can see somebody who is either completely or fully responsible. Looks like his web provider shut down his board, though.

Yeah, that's the home site for the phpBB message board software. The service provider here became aware of the problem and locked down any phpBB message boards before they got hacked. Now that I've upgraded, I hope I'm safe.
Maybe it's time to start looking for a message board software that isn't free. You get what you pay for.

I guess without being able to see the files on the D37 message board server, we dont know what has been deleted or have a few links just been redirected. The PHP forum discussed the hack as being a redirect hack, not a delete hack. I hope.
