I'll be out saturday afternoon for my first national. Any other aces to pit with?
I won't be making this one. Good luck on your 1st National!
Nationals can be tough so be prepared for some very technical stuff on the 2nd loop. Make sure you read the rider instructions for details about how many loop options (I think Novice go 2 loops), Gas alternates, mileage etc. When you pit for the 2nd loop top off the camelback just in case!
Awesome, thanks! Looks like i'll be meeting some more four aces :)

WHAT?!?!?!?! Missing a national? Whoa! j/k :o
Good luck Scott, you will have a blast. If you plan to go two loops: conserve your energy on the first loop and save it for the second, you
will need it.
I was originally planning to hit this one, but now I think I'm going to have to pass.

Need to be home for Mom for celebration of life party for stepdad who passed away in July! I'm still thinking i could leave by 5:00 Sat night be home by 11:00 up at 4:00 and still make it for Bomb practice! Not! the points Ho is going to relax for the weekend!
Well since Kent's not going. I'll go race it and work the pits for double points ;).......
Just kiddin, but we will be up the hill from there in Big Bear if anyone wants to cruz up for dinner.
Scott, take the advice given in this thread. So Cal will put on a ass kicker event. Be ready for the second loop!
Smarter is faster on the second loop (that's why I don't do them :o).
Have fun and be safe....
Haha well im slightly more nervous now :P but hopefully i'll be able to finish!

You can finish. Just don't go crazy on the first loop. You'll need your energy for the second. Your young, GO GETTEM!!!!
Scott,
Noticed the DNF loop 1 on the results. What happened?
In bomb practice in the morning bike started bogging hard and making weird noises. Then i Couldnt get the bike started about 30 min before the race. Tore the thing apart trying everything. I was getting spark but it still wouldnt go. Concluded it was a power valve with argubrights mechanic. But an hour later i put in a new plug just for the hell of it. And started right up. Never made the start, but learned being prepared is everything. Wouldve been a great race too, bomb was super fast. Pretty bummed but got to watch some pros, pretty cool. I'll be at 100's a little more prepared ;)
Bummer dude!
