Introducing Myself

Richie,

  I started riding again in Oct after 27 years of chasing a career back east and your National HH was my first race other than a local USDR.  I was impressed!!! Can't believe I finished and actually placed 3rd in HWT Novice 40+ Almost old group.  After talking with Greg Meyers this week i would like to look at joining the Four Aces.  I live in Ridgecrest and I travel alot so it would be hard to make scheduled meetings.  Not sure how the whole desert get together thing works, I'm a simple type that loads the bike up in the truck, brings a cooler (mostly Beer) a sleeping bag and i head for the desert to have fun.  Wish i could make the National this weekend but i'll be heading out of town Sunday.  I'll be riding the USDR this weekend since it's local, so if any of the ACES are planning on attending let me know and i'll stop bye and introduce myself.  My next race will be the D37 Hare scramble at Diggers the 21st.    Would like to sit around the fire and see if I fit the profile for membership.

Nice to meet you.  I'm not sure if anybody will be at the USDR race or not.  I think a couple of our Ridgecrest members do those on occasion. 

Next time you are planning to do a D37 race, let us know and we'll hook you up with a pit so we can get to know you and you can get to know us.

Most of our meetings are handled right here on the message board - so ability to attend meetings is not a requirement with this group.
